Trivikram Srinivas may be about to make a big change for his next film. According to industry buzz, Aadarsha Kutumbam could be his last collaboration with music director Thaman.
A Partnership Since Aravinda Sametha
Trivikram and Thaman first teamed up for NTR’s Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. The combination clicked, and they went on to work together on every Trivikram film since, including Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Guntur Kaaram and now Aadarsha Kutumbam.
Their biggest success together was Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, whose chartbuster album became one of the biggest musical hits in Telugu cinema.
Where Aadarsha Kutumbam Fell Short
This time, things didn’t go as planned. Thaman’s work in Aadarsha Kutumbam has been widely criticised. Audiences found the songs underwhelming, and the background score didn’t lift the film the way fans expected.
The music is being seen as one of the main negatives of the film, which has had a below-par start at the box office.
The Split Buzz
Now, there’s talk in industry circles that Aadarsha Kutumbam will be the last film Trivikram and Thaman do together. Trivikram is said to have decided to work with a different music director for his next project.
Neither Trivikram nor Thaman has said anything about this officially.
What About God of War?
As per schedule, Trivikram’s next film is God of War with NTR, a massive pan-India mythological project. For a film of that scale, music will play a huge role, and the choice of composer will be one of the most important decisions.
Who Trivikram picks for God of War is now the big question. Fans are keen to see whether he goes for a fresh combination to match the scale of the project.
A Crucial Phase for Trivikram
The decision comes at a key moment in Trivikram’s career. After Guntur Kaaram and Aadarsha Kutumbam, he is in a low phase, and God of War is the biggest project of his career. Getting every part of it right, including the music, will be crucial.
What decision Trivikram finally takes is what everyone is waiting to see.
